"Live at Kichijouji Mandala II" to rejestracja niezwykle energetycznego występu, który odbył się 12 lipca 2000 w Tokio. Grupie towarzyszy Katsui yuji na elektrycznych skrzypcach, a przy produkcji materiału Ruins wspomagał osobiście John Zorn.

"Przełożona na dźwięki japońska wścieklizna spod znaku banzai i harakiri. Działający od 1985 roku duet to dziś weterani noise. Wielu dziś artystów radykalniejszych, ale Ruins wciąż pozostają jedyni w swoim rodzaju. Upiorna fuzja starego hard rocka z echami King Crimson i francuskiej Magmy podana w klimacie ekstremalnego metalu i najbardziej pokręconego hardcore lat 80.
