Recenzję tą można pisać z dwóch powodów. Z powodu doboru kompozycji oraz brzmienia. Samych kompozycji nie oceniam bo lubię całą twórczość. Brak jest studyjnych kompozycji z pierwszych płyt przez co cd mógłby mieć dopisek vol. 2. Essential wydany przez Parlophone ma "lepsze" brzmienie niż poszczególne cd wydane przez Parlophone z których powstała składanka.Nawet ostatnie 3 utwory remasterowane w 1999r brzmią "lepiej"niż na Stop Making...Essential Parlophone ma wszystkie utwory remasterowane nie jak podaje opis z Serpent.Jest trochę zamieszania z faktycznym wydawcą jakiego podają sprzedawcy.Być może aby mieć to brzmienie trzeba szukać wydań EMI.
