An Israeli born in Palestine, Raz is a master percussionist in the Middle Eastern tradition and a leading influence on the NYC "illbient" school of underground trip hop dubbers, along with DJ Spooky, WordSound I Powa, DJ Olive, Loop Lucy and Soulslinger.
