Stefano Ferrian and Simone Quatrana collaborates in the NUTIMBRE and in the RARA AVIS feat Ken Vandermark projects.


NUTIMBRE participated to the Umbria Jazz Fest (2012/2013), Novara Jazz Fest and JazzIt Fest and did two European tours supporting the "Risk" and "Cycles" releases.


RARA AVIS feat Ken Vandermark did a successful tour along Europe on 2013 supporting their already sold out release "Mutations / Multicellulars Mutations" which entered the Top 40 of the important USA distributor Squidco.

They did the Impro Connection Tour III together for a total of 16 gigs in 19 days through Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Denmark and Germany for a total of 7200km.

They collaborates with renowed personalities of the modern improvised music scene like Peter Brotzmann, Ken Vandermark, Mikolaj Trzaska, Rudy Mahal and many others.


Stefano and Simone delivers an organic improvisation crossing the lines between european radical culture and eastern conception of jazz.
