Weather Report ~ Live & Unreleased After 20 years, Weather Report decided to release the most complete compilation of their live favorites, recorded between November 1975 and June 1983. 'Live & Unreleased' is produced in 2002 in cooperation with Joe Zawinul and Wayne Shorter and includes nearly all formations Weather Report have gone through throughout the years. Although Weather Report excelled during concerts, this album is one of only three live albums the band ever released. In that respect, 'Live & Unreleased' gives you the best overview of their diverse, melodic Fusion Jazz. For example 'Night Passage' is as vibrant if not more exciting than other recordings, 'Black Market' is played slightly different than previous recordings but nevertheless mind-blowing! This album is simply the best quality recording a live album could possibly bring.
