The second album in the series “Jazz Legends” by Michal Urbaniak is entitled “Friday Night at the Village Vanguard”. The next album in this series will be entitled “Saturday Night at the Village Vanguard”. Both items are a record of concerts in the legendary jazz club in New York. The club was founded in 1935 by the famous jazz promoter Max Gordon. The greatest musicians played and recorded there: John Coltrane, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Gil Evans, Thelonius Monk, Charles Mingus, Dizzy Gilespie, Dexter Gordon. “Jazz Legends 2” is a proposal of acoustic jazz at the highest world level.

In the recording – in addition to Michal Urbaniak on violin – participated: Ron Carter - bass, Mike Gerber - piano, Lenny White-drums.
