"Orbis Terrarum Requiem" in brief means "The World's Requiem" or "The Earth's
Requiem" and in the case of this album the second explanation given fits better to
its concept and thematology.
It is a requiem for the destruction that has befallen Earth/Nature inflicted by humans.
It describes a world deserted and the only inhabitants are life forms that used to
dwell beneath the Earth's surface even long before the Nature's fall and they still
do after it...

An excellent follow-up to 'The Veratrine Evangelicum', more structured and mature. An album that will grow on you after a few listens.

iN sCissorS Bio:

I started to learn playing the piano when i was about 6 years old and afterwards, in
1999, i began giving form to my own compositions and experimenting with them...the
reason i formed iN sCissorS was the need to express myself and also create a world i
had in my mind, a world different from the one i was and from the one i am living
in. It was my need to create not only music but images also, whether they were/are
through music/soundscapes, graphics or video and to experiment with sound.
For me creating music or soundscapes is a ritual that will bring me to the
appropriate state and mood to create what iN sCissorS is both musically and visually.
From the very beginning iN sCissorS was in my mind as an image depicting a lurid
underground world and that's how the project's first name (Aes Sidhe) derived.

Meanwhile i have been playing in various bands as a keyboardist, vocalist or
guitarist/bassist. Bands that their musical genres were varying from Blues to Hard

To requiem dla destrukcji, która spada na Ziemię/Naturę przez ludzi. Opisuje opustoszały świat i jego jedynych mieszkańców: formy ludzkie, które zamieszkiwały pod powierzchnią ziemi na długo przed jej zagładą, a także po niej...

Drugi album greckiego iN sCissorS to znakomita kontynuacja 'The Veratrine Evangelicum', album jeszcze bardziej dojrzały i dopracowany do ostatniego szczegółu. Krążek z każdym przesłuchaniem nabiera nowych barw i podoba się coraz bardziej.

"Filozofia iN sCissorS to tworzenie za każdym razem innego świata lub wymiaru, w który dana muzyka się dzieje...

Zacząłem lekcje gry na fortepianie w wieku 6 lat, a w 1999 rozpocząłem nadawać swoim kompozycjom kształt oraz eksperymentować z nimi. Powód, dla którego stworzyłem iN sCissorS, to była potrzeba wyrażenie siebie, a także stworzenia świata, który tkwił mi w głowie. Świata znacznie innego od tego, w którym byłem i w którym teraz żyje. Projekt powstał z potrzeby tworzenia nie tylko muzyki, lecz obrazów, zarówno przez muzykę, grafikę czy video i eksperymentowania z dżwiękiem. W tym samym czasie byłem także klawiszowcem, wokalistą, gitarzystą i basistą w różnych zespołach. Ich muzycznymi korzeniami było wiele gatunków, zaczynając od bluesa przez jazz, hard rock, gothic, kończąc na doom metalu. Teraz, oprócz iN sCissorS, gram także na klawiszach w zespole Bare Infinity, który gra metal symfoniczny z kobiecymi wokalami."
