Editor's info:
Essentially a solo-project for Manchester guitarist Vini Reilly, these albums are the second part of a reissue programme which follows on from the first batch released around 1997. 1982's 'Another Setting' is very similar in style and quality to the first two albums, featuring chiming post-punk guitar and Reilly's trademark mumbling and is largely superb. 'Without Mercy' is an ambitious attempt by Reilly to create his own version of Tubular Bells; it's no worse than that record although the bonus tracks offer less self-indulgent treats. The appropriately-titled 'Obey The Time', released in 1990, nods towards more modern sounds and is far less guitar-based, opting instead for blissed-out melodies, even featuring a drum-and-bass remix bonus track.
Wydana na polskiej licencji p³yta znanego nowofalowego gitarzysty Vini Reilly i jego Durutti Column (znanego tak¿e z wielu kooperacji, m.in. z Anne Clark czy te¿ muzykami z serii Made To Measure).
