"Across the wilderness" is a new release by the Masala collective.
The album features 5 compositions - including 4 new songs and one remix of a song known from the first album - "Tuwa-Turcja- Międzylesie". This time, Masala takes the listener to the regions of the Caucasus and southern Asia. It is an instrumental album embellished only with eastern vocals and throat singing characteristic of Siberian areas.
Masala returns after a sensationally received debut, many concerts all over Poland (including a sensationally received performance on the Third Programme of Polish Radio), publications on world compilations such as "Asian Garden", "Made in India" or a compilation currently being prepared for Radio Bis and on the eve of a concert for the European Radio Union, which will be broadcast throughout Europe.
Could it be that we have a new, after Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa, folk-related export product? I am sure of it.
