01. "Rhythm Asobi" featuring Tunde Ayayemi
TUNDE AYANEMI is a young, genius percussionist from Nigeria, Africa. He plays a set of 3 tiny bata drums called Kudi & Aco, tied into one, placed in between his thighs & uses strips of antelope skin to snap out the high & dry sound of the drums. His drums on "Rhythm Asobi" had been pre-recorded & sampled by the members of RYU, thus there wasn't any studio collaboration for this track, but RYU had previously done a live session with him, 1998 in Tokyo. This was RYU's first proper project as a group. Fans were astounded by Tunde's amazing drumming, the UK's Straight No Chaser mag printed a half-page photo of this session on their News page. Tunde had also toured with DJ KRUSH in KRUSH's "RHYTHM Japan Tour '98," and done another session with RYU at the FUJI
ROCK FESTIVAL 1999 (one of the biggest summer outdoor festivals in Japan).

ERI OHNO is an old-cat jazz singer who had also sang a cover version of John Lennon's "Mind Games" on DJ KRUSH's 4th album "MiLight."
03. "RYU" & "Ill-Beatnik" featuring BOSS THE MC
BOSS THE MC is the rapper of THA BLUE HERB which have been KRUSH's most-recommended Japanese hiphop team for more than a year now. KRUSH had first got their 12inch through a mutual friend, and fell in love with the selection of words by BOSS THE MC & the sound created by BOSS's teammate O.N.O., He began playing it during his DJ set and received massive response wherever he played it. The other two members of RYU had laid their hands on the same 12inch around the same time through the same person. THA BLUE HERB had been making quite a buzz amongst DJs in Tokyo.
