"Kraftwerk with guitars or Trans Am without the schmaltz, To Rococo Rot provide a nice fusion of
indie-rock instrumentalism and the more minimal end of armchair techno occupied by Autechre and
Freeform. The group manage a near-perfect balance of elements, here, coming off neither retro nor
pretentious, reserving the occasionally embarrassing artiness of a Stereolab or Tortoise for the
subtlety with which they play electronic and acoustical textures off one another."

"Over the course of 11 tracks, you'll be led through another green world and into a sea of such
remarkable tranquility, you'd think you were on a moonbase. The music's underwater, oceanic
attributes are perfect for a day in the tub, lounging in your temperature-controlled environment,
dreaming of a swim in a rural Minnesotan lake. It shall whisk me away. It shall whisk me... Yes…"

"We truly can't imagine anyone failing to be moved by this sublime piece of music......electrified subtle
percussion, semi-accoustic guitars providing the engrossing bassline, midnight violins and all manner
of subtle sonic manipulations taking place somewhere in the distance. There are too many highlights
to this magical album and, we think, we are only just strating to get a grip on proceedings amongst the
15 tracks on offer. Sublime" BOOMKAT on MUSIC IS A HUNGRY GHOST
Trzypłytowe, limitowane wydanie plus bonusy!
Nadciągają, wracają albumy To Rococo Rot wydane przez City Slang: “Veiculo“ (1997), “The Amateur View“ (1999) i “Music Is a Hungry Ghost“ (2001) na vinylach (180 gram) i trzypłytowy box CD, o którym poniżej.
