AEDI to idea jak najbardziej wywrotowa. Ekstrema z jakimi ten włoski zespół postanowił się zmierzyć w swej muzyce, wymagają nie tylko świetnego warsztatu i mocnych nerwów, ale także zaangażowania w każdy dźwięk, każdy akord, śpiew, wrzask, szept, melodię i hałas. Z pomocą Alexandra Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten), który nie tylko nagrał i wyprodukował ten album w zasypanym śniegu studiu gdzieś we włoskich Alpach, ale także udziela się wokalnie w kilku utworach.

Sami muzycy określają swoją muzykę jako “satanic folk”, to muzyczny spirytualizm, łączący słodycz z punkowym nastawieniem, technikę i kakofonię, zwiewne melodie i krwiste rytmy, muzykę i hałas, szamańskie rytuały i wzniosłe hymny. Spotkanie reminescencji czerpiące zarówno z muzyki Północy jak i ze sceny nowojorskiej...

AEDI powstał w 2007 roku, w 2008 opublikowali sami swoją pierwszą EPkę “The Adventures Of Yellow” a w 2009 nakładem Elevator Records kolejną EP "Polish". Wreszcie w 2011 roku ukazał się w Seahorse Recordings ich pierwszy album “Aedi Met Heidi”. Teraz dzięki Gusstaff Records i naszym europejskim partnerom dystrybucyjnym AEDI wychodzi poza ziemię włoską, nie tylko na polską...
