Rightly heralded as an ambient classic, "Underwater Sunlight" was arguably the finest album of the band's so called "blue years" and influenced a new generation of ambient musicians.

Featuring both parts of the superb `Song of the Whale' and the classic title track, the album introduced Tangerine Dream to a new audience.

This Esoteric Reactive edition is newly re-mastered and includes a bonus track taken from the 1986 12-inch single `Dolphin Dance'.
