He is young, he is talented, he sings well and he is an excellent guitarist. He is the guitarist, composer and singer Jerguš Oravec. The new album Done So Far is a selection of songs recorded at the concerts in Brno club Stará Pekárna where Jerguš Oravec performed with his co-players in the band called Jerguš Oravec Trio. The band presents not only blues standards but also their author songs. During the concert, Jerguš Oravec also played three acoustic sets, just him and the guitar. Rock-blues in all its forms.


Jerguš Oravec is a new significant figure of blues scene. This 24 year old Slovakian singer and guitarist has in a very short time created quite a fame for himself, by his performance in his previous band Next Page and also at different occasions such as the cooperation with A'Conto, Erich "Boboš" Prochazka, Štefan Lengyel and others. A year ago, he surprised and amazed the audience with his new project at the blues festival Blues Alive in Šumperk. This year he comes back to the same venue to introduce and release his new album called Done So Far.


Trio recorded on 29.8.2013 two concerts in Brno club Stará Pekárna in classic line up guitar, bass and drums. Sixteen selected songs were then mixed and mastered by Broněk Šmid in Indies Studio. There are four author songs on the album. The Trio has also recorded songs of such legends of blues and rock as Robert Johnson, John Mayer, Jimmy Page & Robert Plant, Bob Dylan or Jimi Hendrix.
