The second of this year's new releases by Cpt. Sparky is quite an interesting response to the post-rock electro manner performed by To Rococo Rot. Legwan Allstars is Bunio, a participant in several other music projects (Bunio In Love, Buni Kid, Ludzie), whose material is awaiting release. Of the seven tracks on the album, at least five could successfully be found on one of Ronald Lippok and Stefanan Schneider's albums. Although the introduction is quite drill-like, the further into the forest, the more sparse, soft guitars that float above warm pads and synthetic, slightly plummy rhythms. Legwan Allstars conjures up pastel spaces, weaving ambient sounds into harmonies that are pleasant to the ear. They start to develop slowly and as the next plans are added, the tracks start to fade away. To sum up: a nice suggestion for the upcoming autumn evenings. Too bad it's so short!

Druga z tegorocznych nowości Cpt. Sparky jest całkiem interesującą odpowiedzią na postrockową manierę electro w wykonaniu To Rococo Rot. Legwan Allstars to Bunio, uczestnik kilku innych projektów muzycznych (Bunio In Love, Buni Kid, Ludzie), których materiał czekana wydanie. Z siedmiu utworów na albumie przynajmniej pięć mogłoby się z powodzeniem znaleźć na jednej z płyt Ronalda Lippoka i Stefanan Schneidera. Chociaż wstęp jest dosyć drillowy, im dalej w las tym więcej oszczędnych, miękkich gitar, które unoszą się ponad ciepłymi padami i syntetycznymi, trochę plumkającymi rytmami. Legwan Allstars wyczarowuje pastelowe przestrzenie, wplatając w przyjemne dla ucha harmonie odgłosy o ambientowym charakterze. Szumy, delikatne trzaski, stłumione hurgoty: to wszystko buduje senno-płynący nastrój płyty. Kompozycje mają linearną strukturę. Rozkręcają się powoli i w miarę jak dochodzą kolejne plany utwory zaczynają wygasać. Podsumowując: miła propozycja na zbliżające się jesienne wieczory. Szkoda że tak krótko !
