On July 5, 2016, in the club Ciągoty i Tęsknoty in Łódź, one of the most important improvisers of the New York scene, Ned Rothenberg, and the legendary drummer Hamid Drake, performed at the only joint concert in Poland. We were at that concert. It was wonderful. There was a spark between the musicians and the audience, and even the sky gave a visible sign of it. Right after the end of the first song, we heard a loud clap of thunder, as if the duo had gained acceptance up there, similar to the one on Earth.

Piątego lipca 2016 roku w łódzkim klubie Ciągoty i Tęsknoty, na jedynym wspólnym koncerci w Polsce wystąpli jeden z najważniejszych improwizatorów nowojorskiej sceny Ned Rothenberg i legendarny już perkusista Hamid Drake. Byliśmy na tym koncercie. Był wspaniały. Pomiędzy Muzykami i publicznością zaiskrzyło i nawet niebo dało tego widomy znak. Tuż po zakończeniu pierwszego utworu usłyszeliśmy głośny grzmot pioruna, jakby tam na górze duet zyskał podobną jak na Ziemi akceptację.
