They started as a band playing Jewish dance music on the streets and squares, and in the 20 years of their existence they have built a position as one of the most important klezmer groups in the world. Over the years, the Amsterdam Klezmer Band has reached over 30 countries around the world, inspiring the audience to dance and have fun without any restrictions in clubs, concert halls, theaters and outdoor festivals. During their concerts, they bring out the best in klezmer music and the craziest in the listeners who come to their concerts in droves.

The fourteenth album by AKB entitled "Oyoyoy" is both a journey to the sources of the band's musical inspiration and a bold excursion into unknown stylistic regions, from which the Amsterdam Klezmer Band returns with even greater musical energy. The second CD is a kind of outlet for this energy in the form of remixes. A fresh look at tradition brings listeners 8 completely independent songs, which are a great complement and development of the material from the first album.
