Different State is the band that once stepped on the indigenous industrial scene. They caused a lot of stir with their first releases and gigs of the character of an art happening. Over the course of more than 20 years of their activity, their line-up has changed and their style as well. From the massive industrial metal through illbient structures and dub motives to esoteric electronica. Something that is a common denominator for all these sounds is their quality and a certain kind of uniqueness, an unspecified element that shows that the sounds came from the hands of Marek Marchoff and his companions.

At the beginning of the noughties, during the CDR boom, two excellent albums were released. They were "More than Music" (Requiem Records, 2005) and "It Cleans My Wounds" (0v0 Art Records, 2006). Unfortunately, over the years, those strictly limited albums began to oxidize and, with this process, music could have been forgotten. Therefore, we decided to reissue these two materials on CDs to re-show and consolidate these albums, for new listeners and for collectors who are already left with only covers for earlier editions.

Different State to zespół, który niegdyś mocno wkroczył na rodzimą scenę industrialną. Wzbudził sporo zamieszania pierwszymi publikacjami i koncertami o happeningowym charakterze. Na przestrzeni ponad 20 lat działalności wielokrotnie zmieniał się jego skład, a co za tym idzie styl; od masywnego industrial metalu przez illbientowe struktury i dubową motorykę po ezoteryczną elektronikę. Coś, co jest wspólnym mianownikiem dla muzyki projektu, to jej jakość i pewnego rodzaju wyjątkowość; jakiś nieokreślony pierwiastek, który świadczy o tym, że dźwięki wyszły spod ręki Marka Marchoffa i jego kompanów.

Na początku lat dwutysięcznych, w czasach „CDRoweej rewolucji wydawniczej” ukazały się dwa doskonałe albumy Different State ”More than Music” (Requiem Records, 2005) oraz ‘It Cleans My Wounds’ (0v0 Art Records, 2006). Niestety z upływem lat te wydane w ścisłym limicie krążki zaczęły utleniać się, a wraz z tym procesem, muzyka mogła ulec zapomnieniu. Dlatego też postanowiliśmy wznowić te dwa materiały na nośnikach CD, aby na nowo pokazać i utrwalić te wydawnictwa, dla nowych słuchaczy, jak i dla kolekcjonerów, którym zostały już tylko okładki do wcześniejszych edycji.
