This band is a new, powerful constellation of three different nations, visions combined to bring a wide palette of impressions to the listener. The trio performs original music, written by the band's members, including saxophonist extraordinaire Sebastian Gille. Even though the band’s members have already given life to many successful projects, this one provides the freedom and raw power that they have been looking for lately. This trio is like a laboratory where, in a chord-free setting, every little idea is heard and given the freedom to float over the rhythm section’s heavily grounded pulse. Beautiful melodies, raw energy and peaceful moments – in this trio, it all melts in a big pot and seems as natural as never before. (ed.)

Ten zespół to kombinacja trzech różnych źródeł oraz osobowości wspólnie tworzących tę niezwykle interesującą całość. To muzyka autorska, kompozycje wszystkich muzyków, z wyjątkiem swoistego interludium jakim jest track (05) Theloniousa Monka. Każdy z nich zaznaczył już swoją obecność na europejskiej scenie, współtworząc wiele udanych projektów, jednak to właśnie w tym zespole odnajdują oni prawdziwą, niczym nie zmąconą wolność realizacji swoich pomysłów. W pozbawionym instrumentu harmonicznego składzie słyszy się każdą myśl, która to unosi się, to splata z silnie osadzonym pulsem sekcji rytmicznej. Tytułowy światłocień to nie kokieteria, ale istota tej muzyki. Daje ona słuchaczom czytać z całej palety prześwitów, aluzji i podtekstów. Rzec by można: rozpoznawać odcienie tych cieni. Taka jest ta muzyka. (red.)
