For a decade, Moussu T e lei Jovents has been one of the most prolific, musically interesting and positive phenomena in the Occitan region (southern France), shuttling back and forth between Marseille and the Americas, picking up influences from Brazil, the Caribbean, Marseille music hall and all over. Set up by Tatou and Blù from Massilia Sound System, this 'side project' has become one of the most exciting bands on the French music scene, mixing Provençal urban poetry with Creole and blues rhythms.
