During their six-year career, the band from Kashubia managed to release three EPs and, despite various experiments, crystallise a characteristic style that combines beat sounds from the border of drum'n'bass music with archaic sounds of old instruments. The whole is held together by simple and blunt vocal parts, in which the atmospheres from the wilderness and from the housing estate are equally important. The debut album involved a lot of instrumentalists, thus breaking the digital nature of music and, as the band admits, it cost three years of arduous work. The ROD band set itself the main goal of referring through today's everyday life to the oldest, partially forgotten Slavic tradition.

W czasie sześcioletniej działalności zespół z Kaszub zdążył wydać trzy EP-ki i pomimo różnorodnych eksperymentów wykrystalizować charakterystyczny styl, łączący bitowe brzmienia z pogranicza muzyki drum'n'bass z archaicznymi dźwiękami instrumentów dawnych. Całość spinają proste i dosadne partie wokalne, w których równie ważne są klimaty rodem z puszczy, jak i z blokowiska. Debiutancka płyta zaangażowała masę instrumentalistów, łamiąc w ten sposób cyfrowy charakter muzyki i jak przyznaje zespół kosztowała trzy lata mozolnej pracy. Zespół ROD za swój główny cel postawił sobie nawiązanie poprzez teraźniejszą codzienność do najstarszej, częściowo zapomnianej słowiańskiej tradycji.
