Kuba Więcek feels at home in the Polish Jazz series, Paulina Przybysz conquers it with feminine energy and singing, which knows no bounds. Their joint project entitled "Kwiateczki", numbered 87, is the embodiment of the theory that defines jazz as freedom.

Kwiateczki is a new reading of Jan Kochanowski's "Pieśni świętojańska o Sobótce". Kuba and Paulina looked at "Pieśń..." through the eyes of their generation, resulting in twelve songs that sound fresh and contemporary, although the lyrics come from the Renaissance. Musically, it is a collection of Kuba's fascinations and inspirations with electronics and hip hop, but at the root of it all is his Trio and jazz, from which it all started. This is the first vocal-instrumental album in the series since 1989 (vol 76).

Kuba Więcek is not yet thirty years old, but he can already boast three albums bearing the Polish Jazz logo. His first album, "Another Raindrop", from 2017, was the youngest debut in the history of the series. Więcek is primarily a saxophonist and composer, but no instrument is too difficult for him. He is also a music producer, whose talent has been used by rappers Ten Typ Mes and Koza, among others. He was born in Rybnik in 1994, and educated in Amsterdam and the Copenhagen Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium. He received the Fryderyk in the category of Jazz Phonographic Debut of the Year, and his second album - entitled "Multitasking", which well reflects the eclectic nature of this work and the temperament of its author - drew the attention of, among others, the opinion-forming American magazine "Downbeat". Kuba was included in the list of 25 jazz musicians who will forge the future shape of jazz.
