A New York based artist working in the fields of improvised, electronic music and DJ culture. He works as a solo performer but has worked with a wealth of musicians in various settings. He collaborates regularly with Swiss improv trio Koch/Schutz/Studer under the name Roots and Wires as well as German electronic group To Rococo Rot. While he does release material through various routes he also owns two labels, Transparent and Full Watts. Trio Teksaczyków osiadłych w Nowym Yorku od kilku lat drąży własną ścieżkę klimatycznego postrocka (czy już może raczej post-postrocka?). Nad Wisłą ta płyta może być przełomowa dla zespołu, bowiem za zremiksowanie jego nagrań zabrali się tu lubiani u nas artyści, których obecność dobrze dookreśla estetykę Calla. A zatem m. in. – I-Sound (znany ze współpracy z To Rococo Rot), Tarwater, Datach\'i, Couch, Pan American, Dan Matz. Efektem ich pracy są subtelnie zarysowane, ciepłe tematy instrumentalne i stonowane pieśni, które zdają się być w każdej kolejnej odsłonie wypadkową wizji spotykających się na gruncie remiksu artystów. Z przewagą jednakże maniery remiksujących, co najwyraźniej słychać w podwodnym, abstrakcyjnym dubie Pan American.
