This is the second album with songs dedicated to the Cracow Duo band by six outstanding contemporary composers. The music included on the album is a collection of several years of experiences and thoughts of composers and artists, a record of their reactions to reality. The inspiration came from the personal emotional states of the creators, as well as historical events and the philosophy of the Far East.
The band premiered the songs collected on this album at concerts in Europe and the United States in 2011-2022. However, above all, these pieces provide the listener with the opportunity to experience the extraordinary beauty of the sound of the cello and piano, in their full scale and richness of tone. Jan Kalinowski and Marek Szlezer give a real display of virtuosity and musical understanding, using a wide range of emotions - from meditative concentration to unbridled passion.

To drugi już album, na który znalazły się utwory dedykowane zespołowi Cracow Duo przez sześcioro wybitnych współczesnych kompozytorów. Muzyka zawarta na płycie jest zbiorem kilku lat przeżyć i przemyśleń kompozytorów i artystów, zapisem ich reakcji na rzeczywistość. Inspiracją stały się zarówno osobiste stany emocjonalne twórców, jak i wydarzenia historyczne czy filozofia Dalekiego Wschodu.
