Introducing the new album from German reggae/ska star Yellow Umbrella!
The album, titled Little Planet, showcases an even broader range of sounds and influences from the Dresden band. These are no longer just Jens Strohschneider's compositions. Yellow Umbrella's fifth album is more collaborative, featuring songs written by new members – Alex Buck and Bernard Lanis from the late Western Special.

The band's signature hits ("Ma Belle," "Allez Les Jaunes!" and "Germanican" featuring Dr. Ring-Ding) appear alongside heavy roots reggae ("New Time Warrior," "The World Is Not Fair"), relaxing rocksteady ("Wanderin' On," "Since You've Been Gone"), instrumental gems ("M"), and languid dub ("The Lighthouse"). Little Planet, recorded at Berlin's B4 Studio (known for producing for Beatsteaks and Seeed, among others), is like a yellow umbrella perched on another eight-thousander. It's been a while since you've heard such a great album!

Album pod tytułem Little Planet (Mała Planeta) prezentuje jeszcze szersze spektrum brzmień i inspiracji członków drezdeńskiej grupy. Już nie są to wyłącznie kompozycje Jensa Strohschneider'a. Piąta już płyta Yellow Umbrella jest bardziej zespołowa. Znalazły sie na niej utwory napisane przez nowych muzyków grupy - Alexa Buck'a i Bernarda Lanis z nieodżałowanego Western Special.
Charakterystyczne dla tej formacji przebojowe numery („Ma Belle“, „Allez Les Jaunes!“ i „Germaican“ z gościnnym udziałem Dr. Ring-Ding'a) pojawiają się tu obok zarówno ciężkiego roots-reggae („New Time Warrior“, „The World Is Not Fair“), odprężającego rocksteady („Wanderin’ On“, „Since You’ve Been Gone“), instrumentalnych perełek („M“) czy leniwego dub'u („The Lighthouse“).
