Music A.M., czyli Luke Sutherland (Mogwai), Stefan Schneider (To Rococo Rot) i Volker Bertelmann (Tontraeger), ostrożnie, prawie nieśmiało, połączyli różne wątki: kontemplacyjną, ambientową elektronikę, struktury muzyki country, folk i pop, luz i lekkość post-rocka, w nowoczesną jedność, którą można nazwać "data pop".
Po premierowej płycie "Music Am", doskonale przyjętej w kręgach fanów niezależnego rockowego grania przyszła pora na kolejny album.
Recording information: Twinpeaks Studio. On their second full-length release, the combined talents of members of Mogwai, To Rococo Rot, and Hauschka conspire to produce a set of sublime vocal and instrumental electronica that's sometimes reminiscent of a more laid-back Postal Service. Chiming keyboards, whispered vocals, and synthetic rhythms blend in a gorgeous swirl of artfully arranged melodies, with particular highlights being the slowly intensifying "NY 75" and the gently percussive rhythms of "Every Bulb in the Place Blew."
