Highspeeds is a breathtakingly emotive record and sees Moss effortlessly drawing on electronic, jazz and ambient influences resulting in a truly immersive soundscape. Collectively the twelve tracks juxtapose themes of hope and loss over powerful, repetitive rhythms.
As Moss says: "it was born of a backdrop of seeing friends move away while I remained static. Everybody was moving on, doing their own thing…off to college or travelling. It felt like everyone was moving faster than I was, because all I was doing was sitting here making music."
Having debuted live in the US late in 2014 at New York's Rough Trade store, he has since supported Cold War Kids and appeared at the SxSW festival.
