Efekt Moozgu - an uncontrollable creation formed from the crash of two hell-rising personas – Piotr Zabrodzki (known to all and sundry from the projects such as Baaba, Baaba Kulka, Blast Muzungu, LXMP…) and Patryk Dąbrowski (not known to all, although a co-founder of the following bands: Rest In Pieces, Hiny Nieupadłe, Leyce Skonektiket). The Efekt Moozgu's album „Slumberjackin'” is an abstract mixture of everything which is musical and wild in a person. It is the manifestation of two extremes of the human nature. The union of the sacred and the profane.
If you think that you can easily sneak through the material like a smiling chick sliding through the beach promenade on roller skates... there is nothing further from the truth. The universe of sounds, vocalises, arrythmic structures and the whole féerie of instruments will get you into the swing of the insane world that only awaits to be opened. And then, there is either a struggle with yourself or a magnificent, pure curiosity of a child to discover new lands and the longing after they have melted away in silence. The album „Slumberjackin'” is a test of to what extent one is opened to music. The reward is the awareness that one has reached the peak, the final point, after crossing of which, there is nothing more.
There are few of those who will endure the insistent arrhythmia of the phrases which sound like a nail being hammered in the brain with the force of powerful blows and with the accompaniment of the ubiquitous roar of the wild. Because that’s the way it is in the Efekt Moozgu. In the unrestrained concoction of the thousands of years’ music journey, as if it was detached from nature and shredded into the robotic ideal of man's vision of the absolute being an animal in its secret depths - is still a howling-at-the-moon-free-fool - the original in the perfection of nature, wildness driven by the romantic heart... And those two worlds, these constan.......

Efekt Moozgu – nieujarzmiony twór, powstały ze zderzenia się dwóch awanturniczych person – Piotra Zabrodzkiego (znanego wszem i wobec z takich projektów jak Baaba, Baaba Kulka, Blast Muzungu, LXMP...) oraz Patryka Dąbrowskiego (nieznanego wszem, acz współtworzącego zespoły: Rest In Pieces, Hiny Nieupadłe, Leyce Skonektiket). Jeśli myślisz że przemkniesz przez cały materiał jak uśmiechnięta kalifornijska lala sunąca na wrotkach po plażowym deptaku, nic bardziej mylnego. Kosmos dźwięków, wokaliz, arytmicznych struktur i cała feeria instrumentów wciągną cię w szaleńczy świat, który tylko czeka, aby na niego się otworzyć. A dalej jest albo walka z samym sobą, albo wspaniała, czysta, dziecięca ciekawość odkrywania nowych lądów i tęsknoty gdy rozpłyną się w ciszy. Album "Slumberjackin'" jest sprawdzianem do jakiego stopnia jest się otwartym na muzykę, a nagrodą świadomość, że osiągnęło się szczyt, za którym nie ma już nic więcej.
