Rebennack had both a desire to celebrate and pay back the many musicians who had given him the music he loved, and had taken the time to show him how to do it too. The album features a who's who of those talents, most notably the indefatigable Mavis Staples, B.B. King, Cyril Neville, plus wild card guests like Willie Nelson, and Randy Newman. The package includes a slipcase and the 32 page booklet is fully annotated by Paul Myers.
