Sehno is an experiment in communication across musical languages, an interplay of utterances performed by two different people in two different vernaculars, a conversation which by natural coincidence, collision and concord gives shape to new meanings drawing on the context of our shared contemporaneity.
The discourse takes place between Shingo Inao, who generates his language from the sounds of the keyboard, the tones of electronic devices and the transformations made possible by physical movement in front of a sensor device, and Masaya Hijikata, whose expression of meaning is rendered into non-digital beats and rhythms played on acoustic drums.
