People in the city say that it is the most interesting new band on the Warsaw scene. Although not so new, because this is already the second album of TASIEMKA.

The first was released in 2018 by Obuh Records, the second by punk Pasażer. And from the beginning, the band's music has oscillated somewhere between punk rock, cold wave and post punk. And although it is too complicated for simple punk; not always dark and depressing like cold wave, and too modern for post punk, it combines all these trends. The songs are melodic and dynamic, but also trance and hypnotic, and the lyrics have strong journalistic-poetic connotations and you will find life stories in them, often seen from an unexpected perspective. Yeah... regulars at Tasiemka concerts joke that they are punk Świetliki, although it is known that it is a gangster band only disguised as nerds to disguise themselves (wink). The band's name comes from the surname of a pre-war Warsaw gangster – Tasiemka's dad (yes, yes, you saw him in the series when he was called Kum Kaplica)

The material recorded in a professional studio perfectly reflects the liveliness of Tasiemka's concerts, but that's because the recordings were made by musically educated sound engineers, but the mastering was done by a duo of underground freaks from the As One studio.

Pierwsza ukazała się w 2018 nakładem Obuh Records, drugą firmuje punkowy Pasażer. A muzyka zespołu od początku oscylowała gdzieś między punk rockiem, zimną falą i post punkiem. I choć jest zbyt skomplikowana jak na prostego punka; nie zawsze mroczna i depresyjna jak cold wave, i zbyt współczesna jak na post punka, łączy wszystkie te kierunki. Kawałki są melodyjne i dynamiczne, ale też transowe i hipnotyczne, zaś teksty mają mocno reportersko-poetyckie konotacje i znajdziesz w nich życiowe historie, widziane często z niespodziewanej perspektywy. Taaaa… bywalcy koncertów Tasiemki żartują, że to punkowe Świetliki, choć wiadomo przecież, że to gangsterski zespół tylko dla niepoznaki przebrany za nerdów (mrugnięcie okiem). Nazwa zespołu pochodzi przecież od nazwiska przedwojennego, warszawskiego gangstera – taty Tasiemki (tak, tak, widzieliście go w serialu kiedy nazywał się Kum Kaplica)

Zarejestrowany w profesjonalnym studio materiał oddaje doskonale żywiołowość koncertów Tasiemki, ale to dlatego, że nagrywali wykształceni muzycznie realizatorzy, ale masterował już duet undergroundowych frików ze studia As One.
