Hedone was founded in the early 1990s in Łódź. The band is one of the most innovative formations that cannot be pigeonholed. It can be safely said that it is an extremely valuable, even inseparable element of the Polish music scene of the last four decades. After fifteen years of silence, Hedone returned with a new album "2020", which was released by New Sun on December 31, 2020. Maciej Werk rarely records albums, but when he enters the studio it means he has something important to say. It's the same with "600 Years of Solitude". According to the leader, Hedone is an album about transience, departure, tiredness of the surrounding world, but on the other hand also about hope and the search for the joy of life. The album was created with the help of Marcin Bors, one of the busiest Polish producers.

"600 Years of Solitude" will be released on CD and LP by the New Sun label - the smallest division of GAD Records, focusing on new projects and coming to life only when something important is really happening.

Hedone powstało na początku lat 90. w Łodzi. Zespół należy do grona najbardziej nowatorskich, niepoddających się zaszufladkowaniu formacji. Można śmiało stwierdzić, stanowi niezwykle wartościowy, wręcz nieodłączny już element polskiej sceny muzycznej ostatnich czterech dekad. Po piętnastu latach milczenia Hedone powróciło z nowym albumem „2020”, który ukazał się nakładem New Sun 31 grudnia 2020. Maciej Werk nagrywa płyty rzadko, ale gdy wchodzi do studia to oznacza, że ma coś ważnego do powiedzenia. Tak samo jest w wypadku “600 Lat Samotności”. Według słów lidera Hedone to płyta o przemijaniu, odchodzeniu, zmęczeniu otaczającym światem, ale z drugiej strony też o nadziei i poszukiwaniu radości życia. Album powstał z pomocą Marcina Borsa, jednego z najbardziej zapracowanych polskich producentów.

„600 lat samotności” ukaże się na CD i LP nakładem labelu New Sun – najmniejszej dywizji GAD Records, skupiającej się na nowych projektach i budzącej się do życia tylko wtedy, gdy naprawdę dzieje się coś ważnego.
