Arad Emamgholi and the Hawraman band cultivate Kurdish folk music, deeply rooted in traditions passed down through generations, drawing their name and inspiration from the centuries-old cultural heritage of the mountainous Hawraman region in western Iran. Their music flows directly from the heart of the Kurdish mountains. Hawraman is a region rich in history and culture, and its music has accompanied its inhabitants in their daily lives, rituals, and celebrations for centuries.

Founded in 2020 by Arad Emamgholi, an outstanding drummer and daf master, Hawraman arose from a desire to preserve the region's ancient melodies and give them new life through contemporary arrangements and international collaboration. The second beating heart and voice of the band is Adel Naderi, known as the "divine voice of Kurdistan" – a charismatic vocalist, poet, and composer, born in 1971 in Mariwan, in the heart of Iranian Kurdistan. His voice—deep, expressive, and full of emotion—is a sound that echoes the ancient songs of the Hawraman region. Recognized as one of the most outstanding contemporary Kurdish vocalists, Naderi has spent decades building his reputation on the international stage. His songs—both new and those reaching back to the distant past—speak of love, longing, struggle, divinity, and connection to the land of one's ancestors.

The album "The Land of Clouds" is a cultural bridge connecting Kurdish and Polish musicians. This music is powerful, yet not yet widely known to Western audiences. The artists bring to life millennia of history and culture from a community deprived of its own statehood.
