The concert at Sonic Morgue (Berlin), which opened with the song Nerissimo, was part of a series of European dates that culminated with the Berlin performance. A homecoming of sorts for the duo who have made the Rome/Berlin axis a membrane constantly crossed by sounds and words in Italian, German and English.
Songs like Mi Scusi are enthusiastically received everywhere, even though they are sung in Italian. A Quiet Life, originally written for the film "A Quiet Life" directed by Claudio Cupellini, has become detached from the film as many now associate it with the final episode of the hit Netflix series Dark. For many years Teho and Blixa have been playing live with Laura Bisceglia on cello and bells, Gabriele Coen on bass clarinet and, for the Berlin concert, the Oriel Quartet with Anna Eichholz and Kundri Schafer on violin, Robin Hong, viola, Alice Dixon, cello .
The cover image of the album is a mixed media work by Blixa Bargeld entitled “Aldebaran”. Teho Teardo is currently on a long theater tour with the famous Italian actor Elio Germano with two live performances in words and music: "Il Sogno di una cosa", loosely inspired by Pier Paolo Pasolini's novel of the same name, and "Il Paradiso di Dante", an original performance with drama, music and multimedia installations, inspired by the XXXIII canto of the “Divine Comedy”.
