Lupnik /lupɲik/ — a magnifying glass man, intimately focusing his senses in an extremely small space.
Lupnik's music is created and performed on a set of objects, instruments, and equipment arranged specifically for this occasion. Percussion and post-percussion practices are used to produce and process elementary sounds. The sounds are then amplified and enriched by a mixer, which becomes another instrument; saturation is a component of the sonic space. The starting point for the material were the sensual attributes of Matter Painting.
In this context, the word 'lupnik' is a newspeak, a play on words used for the purposes of this particular endeavor. The concept of focusing the senses intimately—thus acting like a magnifying glass man—refers to a physical experience; it is an entanglement in the tactile details of sound, both for me and the listener.
This music is not intended for laptop speakers or smartphones. For an optimal experience, use hi-fi or headphones.
LUPNIK is not just an album of my music. It is primarily a sound idea that I am developing and will be enriching in the long term, both on my own and in collaboration with other artists.

Muzyka Lupnika jest stworzona i wykonywana na zestawie obiektów, instrumentów i sprzętów specjalnie na tę okazję zaaranżowanych. Wytwarzaniu i przetwarzaniu elementarnych dźwięków służą praktyki perkusyjne i post-perkusyjne. Następnie dźwięki wzmacniane i wzbogacane są przez mikser, który staje się kolejnym instrumentem; saturacja jest komponentem przestrzeni dźwiękowej. Punktem wyjściowym dla materiału były zmysłowe atrybuty Malarstwa Materii.
W niniejszym kontekście słowo ‘lupnik’ jest nowomową, słowną grą wykorzystaną dla celów tego konkretnego przedsięwzięcia. Koncept ogniskowania zmysłów intymnie — przez co działania jak człowiek-lupa — odnosi się do doświadczenia fizycznego; jest to uwikłanie w dotykalne detale dźwięku, zarówno mnie, jak i słuchacza.
