Blanka Dembosz-Tondera is a singer, composer and educator born in Cracow, Poland. She received her MA degree in Polish Studies from The Jagiellonian University in Cracow in 2002, and in 2009 graduated with an MA degree in Solo Singing from the Academy of Music in Poznań under the guidance of Professor Ewa Wdowicka. Blanka continued to develop her vocal skills under Professor Robert Nakoneczny’s mentorship for many years after. She won the 3rd prize at the International Vocal Competition "Iuventus Canti" 2009 in Vrable, Slovakia, and in 2020 was awarded the Culture Online Scholarship by the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage. Her repertoire includes music from various epochs, from the Middle Ages to contemporary music. She is the Founder and Director of the College of Evangelical Music, where she also sings. She performed with the improvised music group KakofoNIKT and since then has done improvisations whenever she gets the chance. She’s tried her hand at composing electroacoustic music pieces, a format she adores for its limitless nature. Some of these compositions were performed during the "Poetry Night" in Cracow in 2018, 2019 and 2020 editions, at the concert "Songs of the Book" in September 2020, and during the "The Book that Connects" festival in Żyrardów in September 2021. Blanka co-creates and organizes numerous art festivals: she was the Artistic Director of the 2nd Ecumenical Festival of Christian Music and Art in Nowy Sącz in 2020, the Artistic Director of the "The Book that Connects" festival in Żyrardów in 2021, the Artistic Director of the "Juxta crucem" festival, the Artistic Director of the "In the Shadow of Sacrum - Days of Biblical Culture" festival in Radom (editions in 2022 and 2023), the co-organizer and Artistic Director of the "Via Sacra" festival in Jaworz in 2023, and has been the Artistic Director of the Grudziądz Music Festival at St. John's since 2023. Blanka Dembosz – Tondera. Urodzona w Krakowie, ukończyła filologię polską na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w 2002 roku oraz śpiew solowy na Akademii Muzycznej w Poznaniu w klasie prof. Ewy Wdowickiej w 2009 roku. Przez wiele lat kształciła swój głos u profesora Roberta Nakonecznego. Jest laureatką III nagrody na Międzynarodowym Konkursie Wokalnym Iuventus Canti 2009 (Vrable, Słowacja). Stypendystka Ministra Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego „Stypendium w sieci” (2020 r.). Posiada w repertuarze muzykę różnych epok, od średniowiecza po utwory współczesne. Jest założycielką Kolegium Muzyki Ewangelickiej, w którym śpiewa i którym kieruje. Występowała z zespołem muzyki improwizowanej KakofoNIKT i od tej pory improwizuje wszędzie, gdzie tylko jest to możliwe. Próbuje sił na polu kompozytorskim tworząc muzykę elektroakustyczną, którą uwielbia, bo nie ma w niej ograniczeń (jej utwory były wykonywane podczas „Krakowskich Nocy Poezji” w 2018, 2019 i 2020 roku, podczas koncertu „Pieśni Księgi” we wrześniu 2020 r., a także podczas festiwalu „Księga która łączy” w Żyrardowie we wrześniu 2021 r.). Współtworzy i organizuje festiwale: m.in. była dyrektorką artystyczną II Ekumenicznego Festiwalu Muzyki i Sztuki Chrześcijańskiej w Nowym Sączu w 2020 r., dyrektorką artystyczną festiwalu „Księga, która łączy” w Żyrardowie 2021 r., dyrektorką artystyczną festiwalu „Juxta crucem”, dyrektorką artystyczną festiwalu „W Cieniu Sacrum – Dni Kultury Biblijnej” w Radomiu (2022 r, 2023 r.), współorganizatorką i dyrektorką artystyczną Festiwalu „Via Sacra” w Jaworzu w 2023, jest dyrektorką artystyczną Grudziądzkiego Festiwalu Muzycznego u św. Jana (od 2023 r.) oraz dyrektorką festiwalu „Jazz w Skale”. Działa na polu teatralnym i wokalno-aktorskim pracując z amatorami i profesjonalistami tworząc kursy i spektakle (m.in. „Bojownice głosu” „Kobiecy głos ma głos”.......
